Happy New Year! I logged into my old blog reader and I was delighted to see that so many bloggy people I follow have been keeping up with long-form writing. It is always nice to read someone’s process on how they made something, or how a recipe turned out, or about a fun adventure they had. Such a nice change from scrolling on Instagram and glancing at pictures. Documenting life by way of journaling, or taking a million pictures, or… Read more »

My cousin posted this picture on Facebook and I had to share šŸ™‚ Source There’s a chill in the air, the days are getting shorter and pumpkin spice lattes are back! Ā And so, life goes on and these sunny days with cool breezes will be replaced… Read more »

Start date on myĀ Vitamin DĀ cardiganĀ was October of last year!!! Ā Finally, this project is off the needles… huge sigh of relief! I’m sort of on the fence about this one šŸ™ Ā I don’t know if I would feel differently if I had lengthened the body so that the “drapey bits” in front draped better. Ā That said, a whole sweater in this yarn, Tosh Merino Light, is absolutely amazing. Ā It is light and squishy and the color, even after a good soak,… Read more »
